Your New Role…
As a Media Planner you will plan, implement, and coordinate on-air promotion strategy, ensuring that programmes are promoted as effectively as possible to maximise audience awareness and drive ratings, while reporting to the Media Planning Executive Lead.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Create campaign media plans to effectively manage the available promotional airtime on the channel on a daily level
Set campaign reach and frequency targets and monitor laydown to ensure placements met
Use broadcast channel management software (IBMS & Gripit), to place promo campaigns into the daily schedules as per defined strategy
Plan graphics to maximise promotion of key channel highlights
Ensure editorial integrity of break content and messaging
Monitor competitor breaks and on-air strategy
Liaise with the production team to ensure promo delivery is on time and in the event of delays or programming changes, amend schedules and materials accordingly
Provide in depth post-campaign analysis where required.Occasionally prepare and deliver presentations on campaign results and related insight
Qualifications & Experience…
Experience in a media or broadcast environment is preferred but not required
Experience of analysing and interpreting data
High attention to detail
An appreciation of creative issues and advertising
Education - university level or higher
Computer literate with good Excel & PPT
Working proficiency in English
