What You'll Do
In this role, you will lead the marketing function for Gummicube, a division of Airship Group, Inc. You will own the development, management, and execution of Gummicube's marketing strategy, working closely with the GM to align marketing efforts with business goals. You will manage a team of 3-4 direct reports and collaborate across departments to drive growth, customer retention, and brand awareness.
Strategy and Execution
- Own the overall marketing strategy, uniting and evolving all aspects of Gummicube's marketing as the business grows and scales
- Build marketing programs across multiple channels and segments that support Gummicube's strategic marketing plan
- Develop business cases for new marketing programs, making recommendations on the right tactics and channels
- Lead marketing initiatives from planning through execution, driving collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
Digital Marketing and Performance
- Manage paid digital advertising, SEO/SEM efforts, and lead generation programs
- Track and report on key marketing KPIs, including qualified leads, website performance, lead flow, LTV, and retention
- Work with the Data team to analyze results across all marketing efforts and adjust strategies to meet targets
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources to maximize return
Content, Creative, and Events
- Partner with the Design team to produce ads, content, email campaigns, social media posts, videos, newsletters, and website updates
- Collaborate with the account, creative, and data teams to develop data sheets, white papers, case studies, presentations, and demos
- Develop and manage events, including sponsored conferences, proprietary events, webinars, and trade show exhibitions
- Create materials for speaking engagements, community outreach, and industry events
Market Intelligence and Partnerships
- Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform strategy
- Manage relationships with external agencies, marketing vendors, and partners, defining KPIs for each vendor to track performance and cost
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the marketing team, setting clear goals, providing coaching and training, and building a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Deliver against quarterly and annual plans, preparing regular performance reviews and analysis for leadership

What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in digital performance marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing and integrated campaigns (events, social, content)
- 5+ years of experience in a people leadership role, preferably within a marketing function
- Strong practical experience with paid advertising, SEO/SEM, and lead generation strategies
- Track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable results
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership, collaborate with teammates, and engage external partners
- Strategic and financial thinking: you use the right metrics, market knowledge, and business context to make sound decisions
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with shifting priorities
We'd Be Delighted If You Also Have
- Experience in mobile marketing, app marketing, or App Store Optimization
- Familiarity with the App Store, Google Play, or mobile growth channels such as Apple Search Ads or Google App campaigns
- Experience working with enterprise clients or in an agency-style services environment
- Prior experience managing a remote or distributed team
Work Location & Travel Requirements
Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.
Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.
This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.
Compensation
Starting Pay Range: $130,000-$160,000 USD per year
This is a good faith estimate of the base compensation we reasonably expect to pay for this position upon hire. Actual starting pay may vary based on factors such as relevant skills, work experience, market demands, and location. All offers include stock options so employees have the opportunity to benefit from Airship’s success.
