Temporary | Hourly | Remote | Reports to Creative Director

THE ROLE

Grove Collaborative is on a mission to transform the consumer products industry for good — and behind every campaign, creative asset, and marketing moment is an operations function that makes it all possible. We're looking for a Creative and Marketing Operations Associate to help keep that engine running.

This is a temporary, hourly engagement with the potential to grow into a longer-term role if the value of the position is proved out. You'll own defined pieces of our creative workflow, help good work get out the door on time, and contribute to how we use AI and automation to work smarter. It's a foundational role — the right fit for someone who is earlier in their career, building real operational ownership, and genuinely energized by bringing order to fast-moving, purpose-driven work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Workflow & Project Management — Support end-to-end creative and marketing workflows including intake, request tracking, timeline coordination, and prioritization. Maintain project trackers and documentation to keep work visible, organized, and on schedule.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination — Build collaborative working relationships with Creative, Growth Marketing, Retention Marketing, UX/Digital Product, Merch, Sustainability, and Owned Brand teams. Coordinate communication, follow-ups, and alignment on deliverables and timelines so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • AI & Process Improvement — Support the adoption of AI-powered tools by standardizing inputs and identifying opportunities for automation. Spot friction in how we work and bring practical ideas for making creative and marketing processes smoother and more scalable.
  • Paid Creative Support — Assist with asset tracking, delivery timelines, and briefing and feedback cycles to help scale creative output for growth channels.
  • Production Operations — Support vendor coordination, purchase orders, contracts, and photoshoot logistics as needed. Assist with budget tracking under direction from the Creative Director.

ABOUT YOU

  • 2–4 years of experience in creative operations, marketing operations, or project management
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams without losing the details
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine interest in applying them to do better, faster work
  • A proactive communication style that keeps stakeholders aligned before they have to ask
  • Comfort working within defined processes — and the awareness to flag when those processes aren't serving the team

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Exposure to paid creative or performance marketing environments
  • Experience supporting vendors, budgets, or production workflows
  • Familiarity with high-volume asset production
  • Experience using tools like Airtable and Claude

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • This temporary full-time, non-exempt position is remote for candidates based in the following states: California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Illinois, New York, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
  • Working for a company that believes that a small group of people can change the world for the better by creating products and funding initiatives that help the planet!

COMPENSATION

The comp range for this role is $40-45/hour. Our compensation bands are determined based on market-specific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for the most experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. This role is not eligible for an annual incentive target or equity.
