Brand Marketing Manager
Brand Marketing Manager - Austin, TX
Hybrid
We are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our Brand & Communications team within our Marketing organization. This role is responsible for owning creative operations, brand consistency, and the systems and workflows that enable a lean team to deliver high-quality output across a portfolio of 25+ vertical software brands. The Brand Manager partners closely with Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to ensure every brand touchpoint feels cohesive—scaling creative output through smart processes and AI-assisted tools.
What you'll do:
Creative Operations
- Own end-to-end creative workflow management, including intake, routing, prioritization, and delivery across all brands in the portfolio
- Keep projects moving and stakeholders informed across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Manage relationships with external creative partners, freelancers, and agencies—briefing, reviewing, and integrating their work into the broader portfolio workflow
- Build and maintain systems that others can run, not just complete tasks yourself
Brand Strategy Execution
- Translate brand strategy into day-to-day creative execution across campaigns, product launches, and partner materials for sub-brands
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve the Canva and AI-assisted design template library so teams can self-serve on-brand assets
- Identify opportunities to standardize and scale creative output across the portfolio
Brand Governance & Quality
- Serve as the first line of quality review on brand outputs—enforce guidelines, flag deviations, and maintain a living brand standards resource for the broader team
- Assess whether assets are on-brand and articulate clearly why or why not
- Protect creative quality without slowing down delivery
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to understand creative needs, manage timelines, and ensure cohesive brand touchpoints
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project status and priorities
- Triage requests gracefully and manage expectations across the organization
AI-Enabled & Data-Driven Ways of Working
- Leverage AI tools (including Canva AI, ChatGPT, Claude, and others) to accelerate creative and content production workflows
- Continuously build AI literacy and apply AI-enabled practices as part of day-to-day work
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and scale high-quality output with a lean team
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the Brand & Communications team
What you'll bring:
- 7+ years of experience in brand management, creative operations, marketing, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing creative workflows across multiple brands or product lines simultaneously
- Hands-on proficiency with Canva at an advanced or team-admin level, including building and governing shared template libraries
- Comfort using AI tools to accelerate creative and content production workflows
- Strong project management instincts—able to run multiple workstreams and keep stakeholders aligned without heavy oversight
- A sharp brand eye, able to assess whether an asset is on-brand and articulate clearly why or why not
- Takes ownership and follows through without being asked
- Builds trust through consistency and quality across every deliverable
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
- Comfortable with camera-on meetings and stakeholder-facing communication
- Organized, process-oriented, and execution-focused with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including clear briefs, tight copy, and persuasive stakeholder updates
- Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, Canva, and project management tools
