Technical Account Manager, Programmatic/AdTech

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Account Manager, Programmatic/AdTech based in India.

In this role, you will act as the primary technical and strategic point of contact for enterprise clients using advanced advertising and measurement platforms. You will bridge the gap between clients and internal product, engineering, and data teams to ensure seamless onboarding, integration, and ongoing success. The position combines client-facing ownership with hands-on technical troubleshooting and solution design in a fast-paced adtech environment. You will be responsible for translating complex client needs into clear scopes of work and actionable implementation plans. The role offers high visibility, global collaboration, and direct impact on campaign performance and product adoption. You will also contribute to product optimization by identifying improvement opportunities based on real client usage and feedback.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the main technical liaison for enterprise clients, managing onboarding, product adoption, and ongoing support across adtech and measurement solutions, ensuring a smooth and value-driven client experience.
  • Own and lead client meetings, including requirement gathering, solution walkthroughs, troubleshooting sessions, and strategic consultations with confidence and clarity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, sales, and data science to translate client needs into technical deliverables and scalable solutions.
  • Oversee technical integrations and platform configurations, providing guidance on implementation, data tracking, tagging, and system performance optimization.
  • Identify risks, bugs, and prioritization needs while proactively proposing solutions and improvements to enhance product performance and client outcomes.
  • Advise clients on best practices, platform optimization, and growth opportunities based on usage insights and performance analysis.
  • Maintain strong time and project management to ensure timely execution of campaigns, integrations, and issue resolution.
  • Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in a technical, client-facing role such as Customer Success, Account Management, pre-sales, or post-sales support within the adtech or digital advertising ecosystem.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with digital marketing and analytics platforms including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Search Ads 360, and Microsoft Advertising.
    • Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the ability to query and analyze data using SQL.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities with high attention to detail in data interpretation and problem resolution.
    • Collaborative mindset with experience working across product, engineering, and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to improve productivity, documentation, and technical workflows.
    • Ability to work from India while aligning with US Eastern Time (EST/EDT) business hours.
