We're looking for a Technical Writer (Product Documentation) to create, maintain, and improve documentation for a complex enterprise revenue management product suite. The ideal candidate can independently learn intricate business logic and workflows, then translate them into clear, user-friendly content — while also bringing growing fluency in AI-assisted documentation workflows.
Job Responsibilities
Ingest and understand complex revenue management concepts (pricing, contracts, rebates, compliance, or similar) directly from engineering specs, SMEs, and product behavior
Write, edit, and maintain user guides, release notes, API docs, and help content that make complex workflows accessible to non-technical end users
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA to gather and verify accurate technical information
Maintain style guide consistency and information architecture across the doc set
Manage documentation within a CCMS/help authoring tool
Participate in content reviews, drive doc quality metrics, and manage multiple projects/deadlines
Use AI tools to accelerate drafting, classification, and content QA while maintaining accuracy and voice
Job Qualification
3–5 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
Demonstrated ability to break down complex, ambiguous, or poorly-documented systems into clear content; this matters more than prior domain exposure
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong command of English grammar, style, and structured writing (DITA/topic-based authoring a plus)
Experience with authoring/publishing tools (MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
Basic understanding of APIs, SDKs, or software architecture (for technical accuracy)
Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub) is a plus
Strong stakeholder management and ability to extract information from SMEs and engineers
Nice to Have
Life sciences industry experience (pharma, medtech, or related regulated domains) — not mandatory, but a plus given our customer base
Exposure to revenue management, pricing, contracts, or financial/compliance software domains
AI Tools Experience (Required)
Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for drafting, summarizing, or restructuring documentation
Familiarity with prompt engineering basics for content generation and content QA
Experience integrating AI into a documentation workflow (e.g., pre-triage/classification, draft generation, content audits) — MCP or agentic tooling experience is a strong plus
Comfortable evaluating AI-generated output for accuracy and flagging gaps rather than accepting output at face value
Why Join Us
You'll help build documentation for a product that sits at the intersection of complex business logic and real customer impact, on a team that's actively modernizing how documentation gets made — including hands-on work with AI-assisted authoring pipelines rather than legacy, manual-only workflows.
