We are seeking a strategic and hands on Product Owner Marketing Technology to define and lead the product strategy for our marketing technology ecosystem. This person will partner with marketing, product, engineering, data, sales, and business leaders to create a unified approach to marketing technology across multiple brands and business models.

The Product Owner will play a key role in a large-scale transformation involving Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud. They will establish the product vision and roadmap, align stakeholders around shared priorities, and ensure our marketing platforms support customer acquisition, engagement, personalization, lifecycle marketing, and revenue growth.

This is an opportunity for a transformational product leader who is comfortable building in an evolving environment, influencing across multiple teams, and rolling up their sleeves to move work forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for marketing technology capabilities
  • Partner with marketing leaders across multiple business areas to create alignment around a shared marketing technology strategy
  • Lead the transformation and expansion of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud across a portfolio of brands
  • Translate marketing and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
  • Partner closely with an engineering lead and delivery teams to plan, prioritize, and execute marketing technology initiatives
  • Own backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and product decision-making within an Agile environment
  • Improve customer journeys across acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, upsell, and cross sell
  • Guide the development of segmentation, personalization, lead management, campaign orchestration, and lifecycle marketing capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, Generative AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation to improve marketing effectiveness and internal processes
  • Use customer, campaign, and product data to identify problems, prioritize opportunities, and measure product outcomes
  • Partner with data and technology teams to support integrations between marketing platforms, CRM systems, Data Cloud, CDPs, and data warehouses
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics related to customer engagement, conversion, deliverability, revenue growth, and platform adoption
  • Support experimentation through A/B testing, multivariate testing, and continuous optimization
  • Promote consistent product practices, operating processes, and ways of working across marketing and technology teams
  • Lead and develop a small product team while remaining actively involved in strategy, requirements, and execution
  • Ensure marketing technology solutions support data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  • What You’ll Bring

    • Demonstrated experience in both marketing and product management/product ownership
    • Experience owning a product strategy, roadmap, backlog, and delivery process for marketing technology, marketing automation, CRM, or customer engagement platforms
    • Strong understanding of customer journeys, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, personalization, acquisition, retention, and conversion
    • Experience translating business and marketing needs into product requirements and technical user stories
    • Experience partnering with engineering, data, marketing, sales, CRM, and business stakeholders
    • Ability to influence and create alignment across multiple teams with different priorities and business needs
    • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to prioritize opportunities and evaluate outcomes
    • A hands-on and collaborative leadership style, with the willingness to work through details rather than relying on a large support team.
    • Comfort operating in a transformation environment where processes, platforms, and ways of working are still being built
    • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
    • Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for incorporating AI tools into product management, analysis, documentation, and decision-making
    • Preferred Experience

      • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement
      • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, customer data platforms, or similar customer data and segmentation technologies
      • Experience leading a large-scale MarTech implementation, migration, or transformation across multiple brands or business units
      • Experience with Oracle Eloqua or another enterprise marketing automation platform
      • Experience supporting both B2C and B2B2C business models
      • Familiarity with CRM integrations, data warehouses, lead management, lead scoring, and marketing data governance
      • Experience with AI-powered personalization, predictive analytics, decisioning systems, or intelligent automation
      • Previous people leadership or experience managing a small team of product professionals
      • Experience within a subscription, e-commerce, professional education, or multi-brand organization
