Content Manager

This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and digital marketing, with a strong focus on travel-related content across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for turning research, data insights, and brand objectives into engaging narratives that perform across print and digital channels.
The position requires someone who can balance creativity with structure, ensuring content is both compelling and aligned with SEO and marketing goals.
You will collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and production teams to build cohesive content campaigns that support client objectives.
The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring strong organizational skills and adaptability across multiple concurrent projects.
It is well suited for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys shaping stories that influence travel decisions and audience engagement.
You will also play a mentoring role, helping elevate junior content creators and strengthen overall team output.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of content strategies that support travel marketing objectives across channels:

  • Research travel topics and audience insights to develop data-driven content strategies and editorial plans.
  • Create, edit, and produce high-quality content across print, web, email, and social media platforms.
  • Build and manage content calendars aligned with SEO strategy, brand positioning, and client goals.
  • Apply SEO best practices and analytics insights to improve content reach, engagement, and performance.
  • Present content concepts, strategies, and deliverables to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, strategists, and production specialists.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and support other content creators to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Mentor junior writers and contribute to continuous improvement of editorial standards and workflows.
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate combines strong writing ability with marketing awareness and experience in digital content production:

    • 3–4 years of experience in content development, preferably within travel, tourism, or editorial/features writing.
    • Strong long-form writing portfolio with the ability to adapt tone and style across different brands.
    • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, content strategy, and audience engagement.
    • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and experience using content management systems.
    • Ability to use approved AI tools to support research, drafting, optimization, and workflow efficiency while maintaining quality and accuracy.
    • Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize multiple sources into clear narratives.
    • Experience collaborating with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive and professional approach.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Understanding of travel consumer behavior and digital travel planning trends is a plus.
    • Ability to provide and receive feedback constructively and contribute positively to team culture.
