Chief Marketing Officer

BIS Safety Software is a SaaS company on a mission to change how organizations manage safety, learning, and compliance. We're at an exciting stage of growth, and there's a lot of opportunity ahead. We're looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to build the strategy, lead the marketing team, and take demand generation to the next level. 

About the Role

This role takes ownership of the entire marketing function. You'll lead the development of marketing strategy and oversee its execution across every channel, while leading a team made up of both in-office and remote team members, with additional hires planned once you're onboarded.

Demand generation across LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Ads, SEO, AEO, social, events, and email sits at the centre of the role. The primary measure of success is qualified lead volume, and the ambition is significant: we're looking for a leader who can grow it significantly. The candidates who thrive here are those who can speak precisely to the pipeline they've built before and how they built it.

This is a build-it role rather than a follow-the-playbook one. You'll have real autonomy to set the strategy and the trust to act on it, paired with the expectation that you can stand behind your decisions with sound reasoning.

In this role you'll be expected to:

  • Build and own the full marketing strategy, then continuously assess what's working and refine accordingly
  • Grow qualified lead volume - the central outcome this role exists to deliver
  • Design and run individual channel strategies across paid, organic, social, events, and nurture
  • Lead, coach, and align the marketing team so it operates as one cohesive, high-output unit
  • Quality-control everything the team ships - video, written content, templates, and guides
  • Get channels working together rather than in isolation
  • Use AI actively to amplify the team's output and speed
  • Take ownership of the marketing function end to end

  • Have led full-cycle marketing before, with verifiable results - ideally in B2B SaaS - and have repeated that success more than once
  • Know your numbers and can explain exactly how you drove past results
  • Bring contagious energy that gets a team excited and moving behind a clear goal
  • Communicate with clarity and conviction - you can say "here's what I'm going to do and here's why it'll work," and deliver on it
  • Move at pace and see projects through to the finish
  • Work AI-native, building it into how the team operates
  • Are proficient with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and HubSpot
