You will be:
- working from the office in Stockholm 2–3 times per week (mandatory),
- designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks,
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused features end-to-end,
- contributing to application architecture decisions and continuously improving performance, maintainability, and code quality,
- integrating mobile applications with backend services and managing asynchronous data flows,
- troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex issues in production environments while driving continuous improvements,
- implementing and maintaining robust testing strategies to ensure application reliability and performance,
- staying up to date with Android best practices, platform updates, and emerging mobile technologies.
Your profile:
- working from the office in Stockholm 2–3 times per week (mandatory),
- 5+ years of experience in Android development, delivering commercial mobile applications,
- advanced proficiency in Kotlin and a strong understanding of modern Android development practices,
- deep knowledge of Android SDK, frameworks, tools, and design patterns, with hands-on experience building scalable Android applications,
- solid understanding of mobile application architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI, etc.) and performance optimization techniques,
- strong experience with asynchronous programming, networking, and backend service integration,
- proven ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production-level issues,
- experience leading the development of core features and modules within Android applications,
- ability to work effectively within large cross-functional teams and navigate complex business and technical requirements,
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive challenging initiatives from concept to successful delivery,
- experience working in Agile development environments,
- practical experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, code quality, and software delivery,
- excellent communication skills and fluent English, both written and spoken.
