About Morpho

Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that raised $70 million from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to build an open lending network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over $10 billion in deposits on the network, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as a cornerstone, not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system.

Why Morpho

Morpho's exists to power human ambition with open access to capital. Human ambition has no borders, but the capital to fuel it does. Today's financial system is closed and fragmented. No one sees all opportunities, most overpay, and some are excluded entirely. We believe capital should flow efficiently to where it's needed most - giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms.

Location

NYC or Paris. This role works hand in hand with the CEO who lives between NYC and Paris, so we strongly prefer someone NYC or Paris-based.

How we work

We move fast on hard problems in a nascent market with no set playbook: navigating uncertainty is part of the job. You'll be challenged: anyone can question work and decisions must be justified. We keep a high bar and match it with high support: we help each other unblock and share context openly, with low ego. More about our values: morpho.org/jobs.

Role

Multiply the CEO's leverage by owning the CEO support function end to end. Remove operational drag so the CEO's time goes to the highest-impact work, and make sure priorities actually get executed across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage the CEO's executive and personal assistant(s).

  • Build AI infrastructure that gives the CEO leverage: personal agents, workflow automations, and internal tooling.

  • Take a meaningful share of operational and administrative load off the CEO (inbox triage, scheduling priorities, follow-through) so the CEO can focus on strategy and product.

  • Make sure no ball is dropped.

  • Make sure context flows to everyone who needs it.

  • Run a direct feedback loop, gathering signal from the team, partners, clients, and prospects.

  • Prepare the CEO for meetings and decisions by gathering context, drafting documents, and pre-thinking options, so time in the room is spent deciding, not catching up.

  • Step in on bespoke, high-priority projects wherever the company needs extra leverage.

What Success Looks Like

First 14 days

You've learned the CEO's working style, met the leadership team, and mapped the current tools and support setup. You've taken over scheduling and inbox triage and delivered early wins by clearing the most obvious operational backlog.

First month

The CEO's operational and administrative load is meaningfully reduced. You've assessed and stabilized the EA function, and the team feedback loop is running and surfacing signal that leadership acts on.

In 3 months

You own the CEO support function end to end. The setup is solid and may have expanded to other executives or extended the scope of CEO support.
