Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in Brazil.

This role combines strategic leadership, client management, and hands-on delivery oversight in software development projects. You will act as a key bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring that business goals are translated into clear, actionable development plans. Beyond managing timelines and deliverables, you will help shape product vision, validate assumptions, and guide technology decisions that impact long-term outcomes. The position requires a strong balance of technical understanding and business acumen, with direct exposure to client strategy and account ownership. You will work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a high-impact role for someone who can think beyond execution and drive true project success from both a technical and business perspective.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact across projects
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery plans aligned with business objectives
  • Lead end-to-end software development projects from discovery through delivery
  • Translate client business needs into structured technical requirements and development roadmaps
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure alignment and execution quality
  • Conduct risk, gap, and feasibility analysis to anticipate project challenges early
  • Manage project financials, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and resource optimization
  • Facilitate meetings, status updates, and strategic discussions with clients and internal teams
  • Identify and mitigate risks such as scope creep, misalignment, and delivery delays
  • Support business development efforts through scoping, proposals, and client expansion opportunities
  • Maintain strong long-term client relationships beyond project delivery
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in software, agency, or consulting environments
    • Proven experience managing client accounts, including US-based clients
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technical delivery processes
    • Experience working closely with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams
    • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
    • Ability to discuss technical trade-offs, scalability, and architectural considerations at a high level
    • Strong negotiation skills for managing scope, timelines, and budget constraints
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
    • Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
    • Ability to translate business goals into actionable delivery plans and prioritize effectively
