In a Master Data Management job profile, responsibilities include overseeing the accuracy, consistency, and security of an organizations critical data. This involves managing data integration, data quality, and data governance processes. The goal is to ensure that master data is reliable and accessible across the organization. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in data management tools. It is essential for supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
Architect master data solutions across platforms to consolidate content, synchronize data, provide centralized maintenance of unified data, enable rich product content management and print publishing as well as to synchronize global data ensuring consistency and control of master data elements.
What are we looking for? Technical creation and approval of Finished Good Specifications in Specification Management system (SAP) including Traded Goods
Technical creation and approval of Finished Goods Recipes in Specification Management systems (SAP)
Obsolescence of FG Specifications and Recipes based on Demand Requirements Planning (DRP)
Coordination with NPI, NGP Supply Chain, BAT Factories / 3rd party factories, Product Developers
Life cycle management of FG Specifications
Validation of data input and plausibility checks
Ensure FG Data Integrity
Provide FG Reports based on specific request
Technical creation and approval of Wrapping Materials Specifications in Specification Management system (SAP) for Repack Raw Materials
Exploit opportunities for standardization in process and business systems for continuous improvement
Context/Environment
This role is the key interface to the NPI community and the custodian of FG data quality, which has a direct impact on production.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Commercial/technical education
Work experience in Data Management
Good PC skills, confident handling of SAP
Good understanding of NPI processes and SKU creation process desirable
Good verbal and writing capabilities in English
Good analytical skills, data-affinity and ability to work very accurately
Ability to work self contained and under pressure maintaining flexibility
