At Boeing Global Services, we’re transforming aircraft to meet the evolving needs of customers worldwide—and we’re looking for a Proposal Engineer – Aircraft Interiors to join our Commercial Modifications Europe team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop aircraft cabin interior modification solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Proposal Engineer, you’ll play a key role in turning customer ideas into fully-defined, commercially sound modification proposals. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Contracts, and Program Management, gaining exposure across the full aircraft modification lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting sales and customers in developing modification solutions that can be offered by our team
Collaborating with colleagues to turn those solutions into technical work statements with associated hours, required parts and materials, meetings and travel and certification path
Calculate costs and pricing, achievable schedule and mitigate identified risks
Pulling everything together into clear, accurate proposals to present to leadership and offer to customers
Support handover of contracted work to execution phase
Identifying and supporting improvement initiatives
Occasionally travelling domestically or internationally to support projects

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Minimum 5-years relevant aviation/aerospace industry experience
Knowledge of commercial aircraft interiors
Fluent in written and spoken English
Comfortable using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of EASA CS25 requirements applicable to aircraft interiors is highly desirable
