Sr Project Manager – Warehouse Design and Construction
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager leads high-impact initiatives across Medical Supply Chain Operations, including warehouse construction, network capacity expansion, and distribution network optimization. This role drives end-to-end execution of capital and operational projects, enabling scalable, efficient delivery of medical products. The position partners across operations, engineering, finance, and external vendors to deliver complex projects that have a lasting impact on the Global Medical Products and Distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management: Develop, manage, and execute complex projects related to medical supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and budget constraints.
- Operational Process Change: Lead and support the implementation of operational process changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Distribution Center Optimization: Evaluate and optimize distribution center operating layouts to maximize space utilization, improve material flow, and enhance productivity.
- New Building Design and Layout: Facilitate the design and layout of new buildings and modifications to existing facilities, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and industry best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Operations leaders and other key stakeholders to identify project opportunities, define project scope, and ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Project Implementation and Adoption: Oversee project implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Drive project adoption through effective communication, training, and change management.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance against key metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Preferred Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
- 8+ years of experience in operations, project management, or supply chain leadership roles preferred.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects including budget, timeline, and risk management.
- Experience with facility design, warehouse layout, and capital financial management preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools preferred.
- Travel Expectations: Up to 50% to support site assessments, project execution, and go-live activities.
Anticipated salary range: $105,100 – 150,100
