About the Role:
As an Executive Assistant at Disney Entertainment Television, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to two VPs of Production at 20th Television. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within a high-volume and fast-paced environment, working closely with teams across Hulu, Disney+, FX, and more. Your superior organizational and communication skills will be essential in managing various tasks, from scheduling meetings to tracking important dates, contributing to the creation of award-winning content.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production executives through a variety of administrative tasks. You will also act as the first point of contact for show production offices, coordinate meetings, manage executive travel, and produce essential documents such as hiring charts and production calendars. Your ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and solve problems effectively will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of Disney Entertainment Television.
Answer and screen phones, schedule meetings, and manage contacts for production executives.
Create and schedule meetings with production studio personnel through various stages of production.
Act as the day-to-day liaison for show production offices corresponding with the studio.
Produce hiring charts, production calendars, and update departmental websites and studio grids.
Manage executive travel and expense reports.
Organize and set up table reads, show & tells, and other large show & studio meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year previous assistant experience and working knowledge of production operations.
Proficiency in MacOS, Airtable, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, PIX, Aspera, Cloud, and Adobe suite of tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects with excellent follow-through.
Strong communication skills, with an ability to interface with internal and external executives and colleagues.
Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Bachelor's degree or other film/television-related undergraduate degree or related production work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Movie Magic Scheduling & Budgeting
