Facility & Maintenance Manager
Job Description Summary
The Facility & Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence, safety, and reliability of plant equipment, infrastructure, and facilities. This role oversees the maintenance strategy to support business objectives while managing the SDC Building, including seat leasing operations and day-to-day facility management. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, manage budgets, and ensure strict compliance with GE Vernova’s EHS and quality standards.Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs for equipment, tools, and plant infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Lead equipment malfunction root-cause analyses (RCA), manage emergency repairs, and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
- Champion cost-out and Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives. Lead fixture design, equipment modifications, and facility upgrades.
- Enforce GE Vernova’s EHS policies, values, and quality standards. Lead 5S initiatives across the facility and maintain all maintenance documentation (drawings, technical specs, EHS/Quality records).
- Manage maintenance budgets, optimize spare parts inventory planning, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to maintenance teams and operators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Oversee the daily operations of the SDC Building. Manage seat leasing contracts, space allocation, facility maintenance, and tenant support services to ensure a productive and safe working environment.
Qualifications Required:
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field;
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance management and facility operations.
- Strong commitment to EHS, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Excellent PC skills;
