Sr. Work Center Planner
The Sr. Work Center Planner is responsible for monthly and weekly S&OE planning process, developing 1–3 months rolling production plans at daily bucket. This role focuses on weekly S&OE production scheduling, balancing monthly demand requirements with plant capacity, material availability and developing daily mold plot to ensure stable supply with cost efficiency and operational discipline, at the same time, to ensure SKU level inventory DSI match target range, reduce slow moving and excess inventory.
S&OE daily mold plot planning & Supply Assurance
1. Develop monthly bucket production plan based on opening inventory, local and export monthly S&OE forecast, 8R inventory DSI target
2. Translate demand and supply plans into executable production schedules at daily bucket. Split production plan to daily mold plot, consider the customer demand daily/weekly phasing, plant daily production capacity, tire mold capacity and key production work center capacity&capability.
3. Optimize demand and supply to ensure sales requirement and business growth can be met
4. Manage SKU level inventory at healthy range, by adjusting supply and influencing demand shaping.
Demand Monitoring & Mold plot Adjustment
1. Continuously monitor market dynamics, customer demand changes, and key project progress.
2. Weekly adjust production plan proactively based on demand change, and also consider plant efficiency.
3. Minimize risks of stock-out and excess inventory.
Production Scheduling & Execution Control
1. Work with plant production control team for production plan execution and ensure timely delivery of key production targets, manage plant by ILD target.
2. Identify bottlenecks, capacity gaps, and overload risks, drive mitigation actions. Resolve production issues such as capacity constraints, material shortages, and EQ limitations.
Cross-functional Coordination
1. Coordinate closely with Production control, Raw Material, plant NTI team and EQ team, to deliver SKU level production plan timely.
2. Communicate with OE deployment team, customer service team, OE sales and OE sales operation team to fulfill OEM daily call off, and tracking OE new project launch.
3. Communicate with demand planning team and RP deployment team, to optimize supply per different channel request.
4. Communicate with export planner to fulfill export order and shipment loading plan.
Performance Optimization
1. Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing teams to optimize production scheduling logic
2. Improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) through better machine matching, complexity management, and constraint handling
3. Drive continuous improvement in planning efficiency and execution performance. Support APPS testing and launch if applicable
4. Coach junior planners if applicable
Daily & Monthly report
1. Update S&OE planning related daily & monthly report
2. Drive report automation and improve productivity & efficiency.
