The Role and Impact: Intel is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager Transportation to lead and optimize logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods that power Intel's technology and global innovation. This position offers the opportunity to manage supplier relationships, monitor key performance metrics, and implement best practices to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee logistics transportation operations for inbound, interplant, and outbound direct/indirect materials, tool and equipment, and finished goods for Intel Foundry. - Partner with 4PL (LLP) to oversee day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across all routes and modes. - Manage the 3PL supplier performance by monitoring service level agreements, conducting performance reviews, and driving improvements in service levels, capacity, and delivery timelines. - Implement and track key performance metrics to ensure compliance with Intel's standards and operational guidelines. - Lead initiatives to resolve shipping, transit point, and carrier-related logistics issues with minimal impact on customer service. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, solve logistics challenges, and enhance operational processes. - Develop and execute logistics solutions using advanced analytical tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflows. - Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers to ensure seamless process flow and collaboration. - Manage critical escalations within the logistics network, ensuring timely resolutions and minimal disruption to operations. - Collaborate with supply chain partners like commodity managers and purchasing teams to streamline logistics processes and resolve any operational challenges.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related fields. - 4+ years of experience in logistics, transportation operations or supplier management with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or 0 years of experience with a PhD. - Proficiency in logistics systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). - Advanced skills in analytics tools and automation solutions for performance optimization. - Strong knowledge of quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), 8D, and root cause analysis. - Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, IATF, IATA, Dangerous Goods, Customs Regulatory, Trade Compliance requirements. - Demonstrated ability to perform data-driven problem-solving and develop scalable operational solutions. Preferred Qualifications: - Degree or Master's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management. - Proven leadership in supplier engagement and strategic performance management. - Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and emerging technologies. - A strong commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
