This position supports the execution of routine testing in the Quality Control Microbiology laboratory while strictly adhering to site work instructions, Federal Regulations, cGMP, and Sanofi Pasteur policies and procedures. This position requires the individual to perform route testing as scheduled to support production, method validation as well as the stability program, and completing the required documentation.

Main Responsibilities:
Knowledge of general Microbiological techniques including aseptic processing, culturing, streaking of bacterial isolates.
Proven ability to perform EM reads, APS reads, and water testing. Proven knowledge and proficiency of functions within the following systems is required: SAP, QualiPSO, LIMS, and OneLIMS.
Maintain safety and compliance of the laboratory work area.
Understands the science behind process steps, technology, assays, and equipment. Works to resolve all testing issues.
Perform cleaning of laboratories, equipment, and ancillary areas as required; Attend/Contribute to scheduled team meetings, department, and safety meetings.
Demonstrate ability to identify issues/ trends related to processes, procedures, assays, and equipment.
Participate in training activities including their individual professional development.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate compendia and/or regulatory guidance.
Prior Quality Control experience required.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing skills are crucial. Individual must be familiar with cGMP guidelines.
Candidate must be able to work in a team environment.
About You
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences with 0–1 year of experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge of microbiological techniques and proven experience with EM Reads, APS Reads and Water Testing are required.
Prior Quality Control experience required.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing skills are crucial.
Individual must be familiar with cGMP guidelines.
Candidate must be able to work in a team environment.
Participation in various and assigned phases of Quality Control testing.
Duties may include (but not limited to): Visual Evaluation of vials, syringes, plates, bottles and canisters.
Setup and breakdown of equipment.
Documentation, waste disposal, cleaning of laboratories, and all other activities as assigned.
Candidate must pass an eye exam and receive vaccinations to be eligible for this position.
This position will be filled as an off-shift position.

The salary range for this position is:
$24.00 - $32.00All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
