Lead the full project lifecycle from sales support—including engineering cost estimation, delivery scope definition, and resource planning—through to project execution, commissioning, and final handover to service organization
Take full financial ownership of your projects, managing budgeting, monthly forecasting, invoicing, purchasing, change management, and final recognition to ensure profitable outcomes
Drive project success by leading your project team with clear responsibilities, creating a positive working atmosphere, and serving as the primary interface between Valmet and customers throughout the project duration
Ensure safety excellence by overseeing risk assessments, HSE compliance, and on-site supervision, verifying all personnel have appropriate safety training and personal protective equipment
Deliver measurable results through customer satisfaction, project margin improvement from sales booking to closing, and add-on sales volume growth
Bachelor's or Master's degree in marine engineering, automation engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in the marine industry, with 3+ years managing complex projects with both financial and technical responsibility
PMP certification and proven experience working in international business environments
Experience leading automation projects on Cruises, Ro-Ro/Ro-Pax, or LNG vessels is a strong advantage
Excellent communication capabilities with customers and internal stakeholders
Good command of English, both written and spoken
