Job Description

The Manager, Strategy & Operations will support the Strategy & Operations function within Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Asia Pacific. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy & Operations, this role will be responsible for reimagining how VCA operates at scale by embedding AI, automation, and advanced tooling into core business processes.

This is not a traditional operations role — it is a build-and-transform mandate focused on redesigning planning, performance management, and operational workflows to be AI-enabled, scalable, and insight-driven.

The role will work closely with VCA leadership and cross-functional partners to eliminate manual processes, accelerate decision-making, and create a digitally-enabled operating model across Planning, Business Reviews, OKR tracking, and broader operational activities.

Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning Enablement

  • Redesign planning cycles (AOP, quarterly planning, leadership forums) to be AI-assisted and highly automated, reducing manual coordination and data consolidation
  • Build repeatable, AI-enabled workflows and tools to streamline planning inputs, synthesise outputs, and standardise submissions across markets
  • Embed automation into governance processes (templates, reviews, tracking) to improve consistency, speed, and transparency

2. Process Transformation & Automation

  • Identify, prioritise, and execute opportunities to eliminate manual, repetitive workflows across VCA operations using AI and digital tools
  • Design and implement end-to-end automated processes (e.g. data ingestion, analysis, and output generation) across core operational activities
  • Drive experimentation and scaling of new tools, prompts, and automation approaches, establishing best practices across the organisation

3. Performance Tracking & Business Reviews

  • Develop and manage automated, AI-enabled tracking frameworks for OKRs and business performance, with minimal manual intervention
  • Build integrated dashboards and reporting systems that automatically surface insights, risks, and opportunities for leadership
  • Redesign business review processes to automate data aggregation, analysis, and presentation generation, improving turnaround time and quality
  • Leverage AI to synthesise complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives to support decision-making

4. Adoption & Capability Building

  • Drive adoption of AI tools and automated workflows across VCA through structured enablement, training, and playbooks
  • Partner with leadership to embed AI-driven ways of working into day-to-day operations
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and experimentation, encouraging proactive identification of automation opportunities

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or transformation roles

  • Demonstrated experience in automation, AI tools, or digital transformation initiatives

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on scalability and efficiency

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
