System and Process Project Manager

This role offers the opportunity to oversee and enhance a mission-critical information system that supports complex operational and public-sector needs. You will manage system performance, functionality, and enhancements while acting as the key liaison between users, technical teams, and external stakeholders. Accountabilities
- Oversee the performance, functionality, integration, and enhancement of a complex database system, ensuring alignment with operational and program requirements.
- Manage system improvement initiatives, including enhancement tracking, modification planning, and execution of updates to improve usability and performance.
- Conduct system audits and performance assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between users, program staff, engineers, and external agencies to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Monitor system issues, user feedback, and operational metrics, providing recommendations for optimization and future enhancements.
- Support data governance activities, including management of data sharing processes, FOIA-related requests, and database import/export functions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system stability, reliability, and continuous improvement across all functional areas.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes, ensuring system functionality meets forensic, compliance, and operational standards.
- Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical or analytical field.
- 5+ years of experience in database management, system administration, or IT project management, ideally within public safety, forensic, or government environments.
- 4+ years of experience in functional and performance testing of database or enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of data governance, system compliance, and information security principles.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, forensic quality assurance protocols, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience conducting system audits, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to train, guide, and support users on system processes and quality assurance best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with secure or classified environments is highly desirable.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) clearance required.
- Annual salary range of $110,000 to $120,000.
