The Project Manager ensures the successful end-to-end delivery of NPD, Innovation and Supply Chain projects, aligned to business priorities and timelines. The role brings together cross-functional teams to drive clarity, alignment and pace, enabling high-quality execution and informed decision-making. By applying effective project management practices, it mitigates risk, resolves challenges and maintains momentum. The role adds value by strengthening collaboration, improving ways of working and consistently delivering impactful project outcomes across the wider function.
  • Deliver NPD & TSC projects positively and proactively, on time in full.  
  • Responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of NPD project with different level of complexity.
  • Manage Markets and other Teams expectations through regular effective communication to all stakeholders and team members. 
  • Work with the Project Lead to plan and define the scope of projects, including the clear responsibilities of stakeholders. 
  • Using appropriate tools / schedules for activity planning and leading project meetings to engage the project team to actively participate and support the project implementation. Make sure that the project is on track, stakeholders are aligned, and issues / blockages / risks are highlighted on a timely basis.
  • To identify and highlight risks and challenges through the life of a project and together with the project team find solutions that will minimize the risks.
  • Influencing, managing, briefing and co-ordinating people across Team Global CS&I (including R&I, NPD & Supply Innovation) and across Tea Supply Chain (including Manufacturing, Technical, Procurement, Data Team, Finance, Supply Chain) and relevant external suppliers (e.g. design agency, material suppliers, co-packer, etc.) to engage in and deliver projects.
  • Creating and implementing the project timeline and supervising its implementation.
  • Coordinating the first production in the production area and monitoring the implementation progress until the product is fully approved.
  • Ensuring project statuses and key milestones are kept accurate and up to date in the NPD Gateway system. 
  • Updating other systems (e.g. EDC for estimated costings), KPIs and Data Bridges with key information to enable project delivery. 
  • Working with the rest of the Project Managers to support other projects, look at process improvement opportunities and proactively share learnings on projects. 
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end projects, concurrently delivering multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity.
  • Experience within FMCG or consumer goods, with strong understanding of product development and supply chain environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across large, cross-functional and virtual teams, driving engagement, alignment and delivery outcomes.
  • Experience managing and influencing a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, to enable effective decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, able to interpret data, identify risks/issues and take proactive action.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead effective meetings and drive clarity across stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong bias for action and delivery.
  • Formal project management qualification or working towards (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience working with external partners/suppliers within project delivery environments.
  • Exposure to global or multi-market project delivery.
  • Experience contributing to process improvement or transformation initiatives.
