The Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned Global Mobility professional to oversee Adobe’s Americas Immigration Program! Reporting to the Director of Global Mobility within Total Rewards, you will serve as the company's subject-matter expert on all Americas immigration matters, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Operations, HR Business Partners, Legal, Compensation, and Finance to support our growing global workforce. You will lead a team specialists and oversee vendor support members to deliver efficient processes and exceptional employee experiences, all while prioritizing compliance and supporting Adobe’s business objectives. In addition, you will lead and oversee the global immigration vendor partner relationship, including monitoring SLA’s, managing performance, establishing collaborative protocols, and budgeting. The ideal candidate is a driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and builds great relationships with partner stakeholders of all kinds. We need someone who always thinks two steps ahead, can reason strategically and holistically, is relentlessly organized and diligent, and is always striving for personal and organizational improvement.

What you'll Do

  • Build and implement Adobe’s Americas immigration program, aligning with our Global Mobility strategy.
  • Monitor and respond to regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and timely communication updates.
  • Coordinate compliance-related matters, including the PERM program and internal audits.
  • Manage relationships with immigration vendor partners, ensuring outstanding performance and customer happiness.
  • Lead a team of specialists, providing mentorship on immigration strategy, visa timelines, and how to support managers and other customers.
  • Educate partners and customers with regular training and resource updates.
  • Handle a high-volume portfolio of visa matters across multiple categories.
  • Maintain accurate case records and manage expiration dates to prevent gaps in work authorization.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/HR Management, Business, Psychology, or another related or field.
  • 10+ years of corporate immigration experience, with at least 3 years managing an in-house program at a technology company with 5000+ global employees.
  • Deep subject-matter expertise in U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories (H-1B cap & cap-exempt, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, EB-1/EB-2, AOS, EAD’s).
  • Experience with Canadian work authorization processes (LMIA, CUSMA TN, Global Talent Stream, ICT), and familiarity with Latin American work permit processes (Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, Chile).
  • Strong working knowledge of immigration compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience managing outside counsel relationships and large-volume case portfolios.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex legal concepts for non-expert audiences.
  • High degree of discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential employee information.
  • A learning mindset and a drive for experimenting with new ways of working.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting immigration needs related to M&A activity or large-scale workforce restructuring; proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS platforms; experience with system integrations; proficiency in MS Office; paralegal certification or JD (non-practicing)

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $109,700 -- $228,575 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 



In California, the pay range for this position is $157,900 - $228,575


At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
