Principal Product Manager Order to Cash Platform (SAP BRIM)

Location: San Jose, CA

Our Company

Adobe is changing the world through digital experiences. We empower everyone - from emerging artists to global brands - to create and deliver exceptional digital experiences. We are passionate about building innovative products that transform how businesses engage with their customers.

The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and modernization of our Order-to-Cash (O2C) platform powered by SAP BRIM. This highly visible role is responsible for defining the future of Adobe's monetization platform, supporting both B2B and B2C business models across subscriptions, usage-based offerings, digital commerce, and enterprise licensing.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for critical Order to Cash (OTC) capabilities. You will partner closely with Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Legal, and Tax teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities that support Adobe's evolving business needs.

The ideal candidate combines deep O2C domain expertise with strong Product Management fundamentals and SAP BRIM experience. You have successfully owned enterprise platform strategy, prioritized roadmap investments, driven measurable business outcomes, and influenced senior stakeholders in complex cross-functional environments.

Who You Are

You are a product leader who thinks beyond system implementation and focuses on solving business problems through scalable platform capabilities.

You have experience owning product strategy and roadmaps for enterprise platforms and understand how monetization, billing, revenue management, and financial processes work together to support business growth.

You are comfortable partnering with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs, collaborating with business stakeholders on priorities, and influencing executive leaders through data-driven recommendations and clear product strategy.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Adobe's O2C platform.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, operational efficiency, compliance, and customer experience across the monetization ecosystem.
  • Prioritize platform investments based on business value, customer impact, operational needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Influence executive stakeholders and partner with business leaders to align roadmap priorities with Adobe's strategic objectives.
  • Establish success metrics, KPIs, and outcome-based measures to evaluate product investments and platform performance.

Product Management & Execution

  • Own product requirements, backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and delivery for key OTC capabilities.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, epics, user stories, and product decisions.
  • Drive product discovery, solution evaluation, and business case development for strategic initiatives.
  • Make prioritization decisions by balancing business value, customer needs, technical complexity, and operational impact.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure successful execution and delivery.

OTC Transformation

  • Lead product strategy and cross-functional execution for strategic OTC transformation initiatives.
  • Drive modernization efforts that support Adobe's evolving monetization models and operational requirements.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to define future-state platform capabilities and scalable solution approaches.
  • Support ERP modernization initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE transformations, ensuring alignment with Adobe's OTC strategy.
  • Ensure solutions support subscriptions, recurring revenue, usage-based billing, digital commerce, and enterprise licensing business models.

SAP BRIM Product Ownership

Provide product leadership across SAP BRIM capabilities including:

  • Subscription Order Management (SOM)
  • Convergent Charging (CC)
  • Convergent Invoicing (CI)
  • Financial Contract Accounting (FICA)
  • Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
  • SAP S/4HANA integrations

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Legal, Tax, Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams to define and deliver business capabilities.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across multiple organizations and leadership levels.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap priorities, tradeoffs, and outcomes to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Build consensus across competing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term platform objectives and business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management, Enterprise Platforms, Business Systems, OTC, Billing, Revenue Management, or related domains.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of product strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
  • Experience owning the strategy and roadmap for enterprise, OTC, billing, revenue management, or monetization platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience owning product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and business outcomes for enterprise business platforms.
  • Proven track record of making product investment decisions and prioritization tradeoffs across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Experience serving as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Platform Product Leader - not solely as a SAP BRIM functional lead, implementation consultant, solution architect, systems analyst, or program manager.
  • At least one end-to-end SAP BRIM implementation supporting both B2B and B2C business models.
  • Experience participating in or leading SAP ERP modernization programs, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE transformations, with a strong understanding of impacts to O2C, Revenue Management, Finance, and SAP BRIM ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of subscription commerce, recurring revenue, usage-based billing, invoicing, collections, revenue management, and monetization processes.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and drive organizational alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep expertise across SAP BRIM modules including SOM, CC, CI, FICA, and RAR.
  • Strong understanding of SAP SD and SAP Finance/FICO.
  • Experience working within SaaS, Software, Digital Media, or Technology companies.
  • Experience defining future-state platform capabilities and partnering with architecture teams on modernization initiatives.
  • Proven ability to identify business problems, define product vision, evaluate tradeoffs, and make strategic platform recommendations.
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs, operational metrics, and business outcomes for enterprise platforms.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience operating within Agile product development environments and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Success in This Role

Within your first year, you will:

  • Establish and execute a multi-year roadmap for Adobe's SAP BRIM-powered OTC platform.
  • Deliver strategic platform enhancements that improve scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, and business agility.
  • Drive successful modernization initiatives supporting Adobe's monetization and ERP transformation objectives.
  • Build strong partnerships across Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Legal, and Tax organizations.
  • Deliver measurable improvements across billing, invoicing, revenue management, and monetization capabilities.
  • Help influence the future direction of Adobe's O2C platform and monetization ecosystem.
