GDIT is hiring a seasoned Contract Program Manager to lead a high‑visibility, mission‑critical program delivering enterprise DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Observability, FinOps, and AI‑enabled services across multiple classification domains. You will serve as the primary customer interface, providing strategic leadership, technical oversight, financial management, and workforce direction for a large, complex mission environment supporting thousands of developers and hundreds of mission applications.
You will own the full business, technical, financial, and performance lifecycle for the program—ensuring delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Customer Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical, cost, schedule, and contractual matters.
Build trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders and mission partners.
Provide strategic direction, program governance, and executive‑level reporting.
Financial & Business Management
Own full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budget execution, revenue, and margin performance.
Lead cost optimization in collaboration with the Sponsor’s FinOps team.
Oversee monthly financial status, performance metrics, CDRLs, and risk reporting.
Agile Delivery & Technical Execution
Lead program delivery using the Sponsor’s Lean Agile framework and MVI (Minimum Value Increment) approach.
Oversee design, build, sustain, and support activities across the platform ecosystem.
Ensure high‑quality delivery of DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud, observability, and security services.
Staffing & Workforce Management
Direct a large, multi‑disciplinary team of cleared and uncleared personnel.
Lead hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and personnel development.
Manage staffing pipelines, backfill readiness, and continuity planning.
Innovation & Modernization
Drive continuous improvement and technology insertion, including AI/ML, Agentic AI, Zero Trust, and multi‑cloud capabilities.
Leverage GDIT corporate capabilities and reach‑back resources to enhance mission value.
Identify and pursue opportunities for organic program growth.
Compliance & Security
Ensure full compliance with all Sponsor policies, security requirements, ICD 503/704/705, NISPOM, and GDIT internal standards.
Support A&A activities, documentation, and audits across multiple domains.
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
10+ years of experience directing large‑scale technical programs within the IC or DoW.
Demonstrated success managing cost, schedule, performance, and profitability.
Experience leading Agile software delivery, DevSecOps pipelines, and cloud‑centric technical programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑interface skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, SAFe, ITIL, or similar certification.
FinOps certification or cloud economics experience.
Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP multi‑cloud environments.
Experience introducing emerging technologies (AI/ML, automation, observability).
Prior leadership of programs supporting >1,000 developers.
