Job Responsibilities
The Learning Program Manager (LPM) for Facilities Acquisition & Management will serve as the Training Specialist and technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Facilities Acquisition & Management Division assigned to the Naval Civil Engineering Corps Officers School (CECOS) at the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) in Port Hueneme, CA. Responsibilities include reviewing and creating technical content for CECOS Facilities courses, and individual and team production work designing and developing instructor-led training and eLearning curriculum.
Education/Equivalent
Training and Skills Required:
A degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design, Psychology, or other related field is desired but not required.
Requires 5 years’ experience or related experience in training system analysis and design.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Captivate are highly desired.
Unique/Additional Requirements
Must have experience working as an Assistant Public Works Officer, Construction Manager, Division Director, or 4 years of experience in similar NAVFAC Public Works Department positions. This position is responsible for reviewing the technical content for CECOS Facilities Management courses.
Should have broad-spectrum knowledge of all NAVFAC commands and familiarity with Seabee rates and NCF functional areas.
Must reside within commutable distance to work onsite at Naval Base Ventura County, in Port Hueneme, CA, and must successfully qualify as an LPM per CSFE standards.
Must be a US citizen and ability to meet eligibility requirements for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC).

Applicants must be able to manage both people and projects, communicate clearly to maintain highly professional interpersonal relationships, and maintain the delicate balance between duties and responsibilities to both GDIT and the Government.
This position has a 9/80 work schedule.
The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
