Your leadership in managing subcontracted scope will be critical to the successful execution of the Persistent Discrimination Radar program, ensuring that cutting-edge radar technologies are delivered with precision to support national security objectives.

THE WORK

Persistent Discrimination Radar (PDR) team is seeking a high potential leader to serve as Subcontract Program Manager. The Subcontract Program Manager will be responsible Cost, Schedule and Performance management of all subcontracted scope and coordination across functions to ensure successful execution of the Persistent Discrimination Radar program.

Responsibilities include: • Direct and manage all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. • Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs, execution, and risk management. • Act as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. • Direct all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. • Make informed decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. • Establish milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. • Lead a cross-functional team, normally composed of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel, to ensure successful subcontract execution and program delivery.

This role reports to the Senior Subcontract Program Manager and is located in Moorestown, New Jersey. The selected individual will gain valuable experience with cutting edge scalable s-band radar technologies, Subcontract Program Management, supplier relationships, cross-program coordination, cross functional team leadership, high rate production, and integration & test.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum 8 years of Subcontract/Contract Management experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑technology environments;

- Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional teams.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree (preferred).

- Knowledge of LM Supply‑Chain processes, LMAPs, and FAR/DFAR regulations.

- Active U.S. Secret security clearance preferred

- Experience with International Trade Compliance (ITC), import/export, and managing overseas suppliers.

- Proven success negotiating high‑value, complex subcontracts.

- Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Management (CAM).

- Ability to estimate Global Supply Chain (GSC) labor hours and materials for proposal efforts.

- Familiarity with LMP2P reporting functions.

- Experience leading Lean/Six Sigma or other continuous‑improvement initiatives.

- Proficiency with SAP, Procure‑to‑Pay, and other supply‑chain systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
