Summary of Job:
Reporting to the Director of Industry Development, Moog Australia, the Program Manager, Global Supply Chain Program – Australia (PM GSCP AUS) role serves as the primary interface between Moog U.S. sites and Australian Suppliers to identify, define, and develop export opportunities for suppliers and report to the Commonwealth on the progress of the GSCP.
This position plays a key role in enhancing supplier capability by facilitating engagement between Australian suppliers and subject matter experts across the Moog enterprise. A critical responsibility of the role is managing an international export opportunity pipeline—from early customer engagement through the development and release of requests for quotation.
.Key Accountabilities:
- Lead gap analysis of the Moog US supply chain to identify opportunities for Australian suppliers.
- Develop and manage effective cross-BU relationships to promote the GSCP and to inform Moog stakeholders of the benefits to Moog business requirements.
- Understand Moog’s broader capabilities across each operating division and have an awareness of the global Defense market and strategic context
- Lead advocacy efforts across the Moog enterprise and facilitate communication and engagement between Moog sites, program teams, supply chain teams, operations, engineering and suppliers to ensure successful implementation of GSCP strategies across US Moog entities.
- Develop and maintain Australian Industry supplier capability lists.
- Facilitate Supplier engagement activities within the GSCP project management for specific customer projects and support direct customer and supplier relationships.
- Develop and manage relationships with Moog Inc trade controls team to effect efficient and compliant transfer of information relevant to specific work package opportunities.
- Coordinate and participate in trade missions, facility site visits, supplier commercial capability uplift training, technology development programs and any other initiatives to enhance GSCP outcomes.
- Work with Australian Government programs to grow exports, including the Office of Defence Industry Support, Team Defence Australia, and Austrade.
- Conduct planning, tracking, and reporting on accumulated costs for GSCP
Qualifications:
- Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Program Management or related field
- Advantageous
- Engineering degree or ability to review/assess technical information
Work Experience:
- Required
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain and/or Program Management
- Proven general capabilities in contracting, procurement practices, supplier development and/or customer support
- Strong working knowledge of Global Procurement and International Supply Chain
- Advantageous
- Defence, aerospace & space, or industrial-industry experience

Eligibility:
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain the required Australian security clearance. Continued employment beyond the six‑month probationary period is conditional on being granted the appropriate clearance.
- Must satisfy police checks and employment screening verification including employment reference checks
- Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulation (ITAR) which in some circumstances can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1
