Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Configuration Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in Melbourne, Florida.

This position is responsible for the planning and coordinating preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met. You will review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. You will analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. You will also coordinate modification records for management control, establish change orders, and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. You will review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. In this role you will support program configuration and data management requirements.

This position may be filled as either an Associate Configuration Analyst or Configuration Analyst.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate Configuration Analyst: Bachelor's degree and 0 years of experience, an Associate's degree and 2 years of experience, OR 4 years of professional work experience in a role were job duties included handling financial accounting, making independent decisions and recommendations on behalf of the business, data management or system acquisitions in a DoD or contracting environment may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • Configuration Analyst: Master's degree with 0 years of experience, a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience, OR 6 years of professional work experience in a role were job duties included handling financial accounting, making independent decisions and recommendations on behalf of the business, data management or system acquisitions in a DoD or contracting environment may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated US government Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Knowledge of EIA-649 or MIL-HDBK-61A.

• Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities supporting baseline activities.

• Establish agendas, publish minutes & track meeting actions.

• Process change packages through lifecycle including disposition & documentation / hardware implementation.

• Perform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Management tools.

• Data management for deliverable CDRLs, non-CDRL documents and SDRLs

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and SharePoint

• Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

• Understanding of configuration management principles / best practices to include management of contract and supplier data

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
