About the Role
We’re hiring a Technical Program Manager - Enterprise Security, Metrics and Business Intelligence to help the Enterprise Security and Identity team turn fast-moving security work into clear programs, measurable outcomes, and executive-ready reporting.
This role sits at the intersection of Enterprise Security, Identity, IT, Cyber Defence, GRC, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and executive stakeholders. It is not a traditional project management role — it combines strong TPM execution with Business Intelligence Engineering capabilities such as data modeling, metrics design, dashboarding, SQL or equivalent query skills, and source-of-truth management.
Your work will help Nscale scale security through mechanisms, not meetings. By bringing structure to ambiguous programs, exposing blockers early, and making security work evidence-backed and measurable, you’ll help strengthen deployment readiness, customer trust, compliance, operational resilience, and risk reduction.
What you'll be doing
Security Program Delivery
- Lead security program delivery across enterprise security, identity, endpoint, privileged access, vulnerability management, SaaS security, detection, and compliance-linked initiatives.
- Bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving security programs with clear owners, milestones, blockers, and decision points.
- Track dependencies, delivery status, and remediation progress across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Escalate issues early and help teams drive action through to completion.
Metrics, Reporting, and BI
- Define security metrics covering delivery, coverage, risk reduction, control health, exceptions, and evidence quality.
- Build executive-ready reporting views that translate technical security work into clear business impact.
- Create dashboards that show what is covered, what is blocked, what is overdue, and what risk remains.
- Model security program data across assets, users, devices, applications, findings, controls, owners, exceptions, tickets, evidence, and remediation status.
Operating Mechanisms and Governance
- Establish a weekly operating rhythm for program reviews, blocker escalation, roadmap tracking, and leadership reporting.
- Maintain decision logs, action tracking, and follow-through across cross-functional security initiatives.
- Develop intake and prioritization mechanisms that clarify what to do now, what to defer, and what risk is being accepted.
- Improve execution with lightweight mechanisms that reduce process drag while increasing accountability.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Audit Readiness
- Coordinate across security, IT, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to keep programs aligned and moving.
- Identify the most important data sources for reliable security reporting and document gaps, owners, and cleanup actions.
- Support evidence and audit readiness by ensuring key decisions, control outcomes, and remediation work are traceable.
- Deliver reporting improvements that reduce manual status gathering and give leadership a clearer view of risk and progress.
KPIs
- Delivery status across priority security programs
- Security coverage and control health metrics
- Risk reduction and blocker resolution progress
- Evidence quality and audit readiness
About You
- 6+ years in technical program management, security program management, business intelligence engineering, data analytics, security operations, or related roles
- Experience working directly with security, IT, infrastructure, cloud, identity, cyber defence, GRC, or engineering teams
- Strong BI skills including data modeling, metrics definition, dashboard design, SQL or equivalent query language, and data quality management
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional programs with ambiguous requirements and multiple stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical security detail into clear executive-level reporting
- Strong written communication, issue framing, decision tracking, and stakeholder management skills
- Practical understanding of security concepts such as identity, endpoint security, vulnerability management, incident response, access control, logging, compliance, and risk management
- Ability to build lightweight mechanisms that improve execution without creating unnecessary process drag
- Experience in a high-growth technology, cloud, infrastructure, AI, regulated, or customer-trust-sensitive environment is preferred
- Experience with security dashboards, control-health reporting, risk registers, audit evidence views, operational scorecards, data pipelines, workflow automation, ticketing data, asset data, security telemetry, or compliance evidence is a plus
