Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As a part of the team, you will be at the forefront of bringing the latest advancements in foundational models to ads. As a Product Manager in the Ad Relevance and User Quality team, you will play a key role in building the ML models that are responsible for showing useful ads to users across Google Search and AI Mode. You will work with a high-performing engineering team and partner with teams across Google, including research teams in Google Research and DeepMind to build AI systems that continue to raise the quality standards for search and shopping ads on Google.Users come first at Google. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
- Experience building or integrating AI and ML technologies into ads prediction, auction stack, or quality and ranking systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with quality or modeling specific product management (e.g., ranking, content retrieval or disabling, automated evaluation or ground truth generation, etc.).
- Experience in a product management role.
- Ability to communicate topics and switch between high-level concerns (e.g., strategy, macroeconomic effects) and low-level issues (e.g., how costs will move for a single query).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention-to-detail.
