Senior Product Manager
At Mojang Studios, the creators of Minecraft, we are on a mission to build a better world through the power of play.
Why play? Well, play is at the heart of everything we do. It’s the blocky backbone of our games, the core of our development philosophy, and even the origin of our name. From the relentless experimentation of our endlessly inspiring community to the classrooms where Minecraft has become an essential teaching tool, play is the bedrock of our existence.
We enable millions to create and play together, connect people across the globe, and foster a community that is among the most active and passionate in the world. Our community is global and incredibly diverse. When we are developing anything within our franchise, we keep this in mind. We want everyone to not only feel included in Minecraft, but also to see themselves in what we make. Our goal is for the Mojang Studios team to be as diverse as our community.
Minecraft's Bedrock Platform team builds the engine, runtime, and foundational systems that power the game across 15+ platforms, spanning mobile, console, and PC. Our work covers graphics, networking, gameplay systems, scripting and SDK (software development kit) , User Interface (UI) frameworks, and engine foundations. This role focuses on graphics and rendering: the systems that determine how Minecraft looks, performs, and scales across every platform we support.
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead planning and delivery for graphics and rendering systems. You'll work directly with C++ engineers, designers, and QA to scope and ship technical work. The portfolio spans player-facing graphics features and foundational rendering systems that other teams build on.
Success here requires technical depth, product instincts, and the ability to operate across organizations and time zones. You'll engage directly in architecture conversations with engine engineers and translate what players and creators experience into roadmap priorities. You'll present to leadership regularly and communicate complex technical programs to audiences with different levels of context. Sequencing judgment matters: knowing what to build now, what to defer, and how to keep multiple teams moving when their needs compete.
If you've done platform or infrastructure product management work before, you know what this role asks: staying close to the technology, aligning competing priorities across cultures and organizations, and building systems that expand what Minecraft can become. If you've also shipped player-facing features on top of complex technical foundations, you know the other half. This role is both.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
