As a result, all GTB's business lines, namely, Treasury Solutions and Global Trade Finance, constantly evolve to provide optimum trade, liquidity, and payment solutions to clients.

Job Description

TDS has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation and expansion of our Commercial and Corporate Transaction Banking product suite to position TD as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider, enabling significant business growth across the franchise. Product Management is the business function that drives the planning, development, launching, commercialization, and on-going management of a product/service. Reporting to the Director, Payments Product Management, the successful candidate could be involved in several cross-Transaction Banking initiatives related to vision/strategy, concept/design, launch/commercialization, and marketing.

The successful candidate will:

  • Own product level roadmaps, working with a broad group of stakeholders including Business Line Product Leads, Technology, Change Delivery, Legal, and other TD stakeholders to support roadmap prioritization and delivery.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of treasury management concepts, products and services and principles as related to Transaction Banking products and services.
  • Act as the "voice of the client" throughout the product delivery lifecycle to expand/enhance our suite of payables/receivables products, features and functionality.
  • Have Agile Product Owner/Product Manager accountabilities with firm grasp of Agile concepts and execution: product vision, roadmap, story map, user personas, user stories, manage/prioritize backlog, user flows.
  • Be a self-starter who stays current with the rapidly evolving Canadian, US and International payments markets including Fintech, Partners/Vendors and Fis.
  • Gather and analyze market research, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to succinctly identify market opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or 5 years of relevant product management experience in payments/transaction banking
  • Experienced payments product specialist with strong knowledge of the Canadian, US and International payments market including ISO20022, Swift, EFT/ACSS/ACH, Lynx, Interac, Interac Bulk, Payments Canada RTR, EDI, etc., and other emerging payment trends.
  • Ability to translate and articulate requirements between stakeholders (business, operations, compliance, risk, technology, etc.) to deliver business requirements, features, epics and user stories while sharing the context and rationalization from a business/customer point of view.
  • Understand Compliance and Regulatory requirements for relevant markets, working with internal partners to ensure products meet evolving regulatory, compliance, legal, and internal policy requirements.
  • Successfully deliver complex products features and functionality to market, on time and on budget.
  • Own product collateral, forms, agreements, user guides, and training materials (for both clients and internal staff) as applicable.
  • Client focused with ability to consult with clients and Transaction Banking partners regarding service preferences and client requested enhancements to deliver client centric solutions.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills to effectively operate in a dynamic environment and actively support ongoing change management.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong storytelling, leadership, influencing, and communication skills with ability to effectively interact and communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
