As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves thoroughly validating software solutions by executing carefully designed manual tests aligned with specified requirements and user stories. This role includes crafting detailed test cases, meticulously identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects, and working closely with various delivery teams to ensure that the final product meets quality standards and is ready for end users. The position demands continuous communication and coordination to support smooth and reliable software releases, emphasizing attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality outcomes throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Mentor junior team members to develop their testing skills and understanding of quality assurance practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Good To Have Skills: Automated Testing, JavaScript.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive manual test cases based on detailed requirements and user stories.
- Strong ability to identify, document, and track software defects effectively using appropriate tools.
- Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and delivery managers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems to support efficient testing workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
