Job Title: Manual Tester – ServiceNow ITSM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manual Tester with hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM modules to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of ServiceNow-based solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating ITSM workflows, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and ServiceNow administrators to support successful releases.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications related to ServiceNow ITSM implementations and third party integrations.
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Verify workflow configurations, notifications, SLAs, approvals, and integrations.
Perform end to end testing with ServiceNow and third-party systems integrated .
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with developers, ServiceNow administrators, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
Support release validation and production deployment activities.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
Experience testing ServiceNow ITSM applications and workflows.
Knowledge of Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Service Catalog processes.
Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data.
Understanding of REST/SOAP integrations and API testing concepts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) exposure.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with CMDB.
Understanding of ServiceNow release and deployment processes.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is an advantage.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office & flexible for other locations as well.
