We are seeking a highly experienced and technically adept Lead Data Engineer to play a key role in a critical data platform migration initiative. In this role, you will lead a team of talented data engineers in transitioning our existing data infrastructure from PySpark, Athena, and BigQuery to a modern stack centered around dbt and Snowflake, with Airflow for orchestration. You will be responsible for defining the frameworks, architecting scalable data solutions, ensuring data quality and governance, and mentoring the team throughout this transformation. This is a hands-on role where you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze product requirements and specifications to define appropriate testing strategies and ensure feature validation.
Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for mobile applications and related services.
Identify, document, prioritize, and report defects using Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Perform functional and exploratory testing to validate user experience and application behavior before production releases.
Validate API interactions and service responses using traffic debugging and inspection tools.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, documentation, and testing practices.
Participate in testing activities aligned with BDD principles and Gherkin-based scenarios.
Must-have Skills
4+ years of experience in Manual QA, Mobile Testing, or related quality assurance roles.
Hands-on experience performing manual testing for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
Experience installing and validating .APK (Android) and .IPA (iOS) application packages.
Knowledge of BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) concepts and Gherkin syntax.
Experience using traffic debugging tools such as Android Studio, Charles Proxy, or Proxyman to inspect REST service requests and responses.
Experience with QA management and test case tools such as Zephyr, QMetry, TestRail, or similar platforms (Zephyr preferred).
Strong defect reporting, prioritization, and analysis skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional development teams.
Nice-to-have:
Experience with mobile test automation using Python, Behave, and Appium.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of mobile testing best practices, device compatibility validation, and release testing processes.
AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
