Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT: Sr Mgr, Quality Engineering to Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions playing a critical role in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) by building and maintaining
automated testing frameworks, integrating quality assurance strategies into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring scalable, reliable software deployments. Design, develop, and maintain
automated testing frameworks using object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Develop, optimize, and execute software test automation strategies that align
with Agile and iterative development methodologies. Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring automated test execution within DevOp workflows. Develop and implement
software solutions that enhance testing capabilities, system performance, and application security. Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is embedded in the software
development process from the initial design phase. Utilize software development methodologies and best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
Monitor and evaluate software performance through continuous integration testing and real-time application monitoring. Ensure adherence to software development and quality assurance
best practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD). Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and software design sessions to
improve development quality and efficiency. Mentor junior software developers and engineers, providing guidance on automation frameworks, coding best practices, and software testing
methodologies. Multiple positions.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 60 months of experience in job offered or related occupation. Must have 60 months of experience in each of the following: 1. Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting;
2. Provide Domain support for healthcare or retail organization;
3. Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles;
4. REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs;
5. MySQL: and
6. Tableau
7. Webservice API Testing;
8. Oracle;
9. DB2;
10. SQL Server;
11. Mobile Application Tool Gigafox; and
12. Perfecto
Pay Range: $130295.00/year to $260590.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
