QEI - QUALITY ENGINEER (SDET) – Client Team
Position Overview:
Alarm.com is seeking a Quality Engineer with an interest in Software Development in Test (SDET) to join our Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will support the quality, performance, and reliability of our web and mobile applications through a combination of manual testing, test automation, and modern quality practices.
You will work closely with Product Management, Software Engineering, UX Design, DevOps, and Support while learning how quality is built into Alarm.com products throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 0–1 years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, internships, or academic projects; is eager to grow automation skills; and is curious about emerging tools and techniques—including AI‑assisted testing solutions—to improve test coverage and efficiency.
This role is well‑suited for a motivated engineer at the start of their career who enjoys learning, collaborating with others, and developing a strong foundation in quality engineering.
