TEST ENGINEER PRINCIPAL

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
The Test Engineer shall be responsible for testing and validating HPC systems in accordance with test plans to ensure that system requirements are met.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Test Engineer Principal must have:
● Education: Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline
● Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required
● Required Skills:
Experience using Linux CLI and the Linux suite of tools
Proficient using Bash/Python scripting for task automation
Experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems
Experience integrating and testing REST APIs related to HPC systems
Experience creating complex database queries to analyze test data across various database platforms including SQL, and Splunk
Demonstrated experience in defect tracking and resolution processes
Experience analyzing logs and test results using data visualization tools such as Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana
Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
● Desired Skills:
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Familiar with Splunk for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine generated data
Familiar with SAFe Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices
Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible
Experience with Git Source Control System

The likely salary range for this position is $152,150 - $205,850. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
