Our Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Quality Coordinator to perform various administrative activities to support Quality department functions and objectives. This role requires onsite work in Mineral Wells, TX, where you will manage, track, and maintain calibration requirements including tools and test equipment.  Moog Avionics delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.

Day- to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate outside calibration suppliers including approval and scheduling. Work to ensure minimal impact to production.
  • Coordinate and track in-house system calibration requirements with ME team.
  • Maintain calibration tracking database and take appropriate action to support requirements and communicate calibration issues.
  • Maintain and communicate company corrective action program (internal and external), reporting weekly/monthly status of Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
  • Set up and maintain Approved Supplier List (ASL); Process supplier surveys and update ASL in ERP (Syteline).  Communicate approvals to suppliers. Obtain new Certifications / Surveys as required; Assist Buyers with ASL issues.
  • Maintain Supplier Rating System, including reporting of performance.
  • Monitor shelf-life program including communication and tracking.
  • Maintain Material Review Board (MRB) authorizations and communication.
  • Maintain company scrap tracking. Responsible for the organization and physical scrapping of scrap material located in the Quality department.
  • Oversee and coordinate the AS9100 Internal Audit Program including internal auditor assignments.
  • Support external audits including customer, FAA, and AS9100 QMS audits.
  • Responsible for QMS Stamp Control and Issuing and maintaining of stamps.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly reports to support quality metrics and objectives.
  • Maintain customer portal access for scorecards, quality requirements, special processes, etc.
  • Maintain Management Review presentation requirements; update Quality bulletin board.
  • Assist with Alaska and Moog Avionics India communication and support.
  • Complete other assignments or tasks as directed by the Director of Quality Assurance.

Here’s what you’ll bring with you…

  • High school or equivalent education with minimum three-years related work experience.
  • Familiar with AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with proven administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical writing skills.

Salary Range Transparency:

Mineral Wells, TX $23.00–$30.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
