Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Antenna Test Engineer This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Waynesboro Virginia

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s MSTS Operations Test Engineering Team.  

What You'll Get to Do: 

  • Integrate new test equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility 

  • Software development for automating test processes and data analysis 

  • Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems 

  • Analyze test data and identify early trends 

  • Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures 

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree Bachelor’s from an accredited institution

  • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

  • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs 

  • Software development experience using languages such as C++, C, C#, Visual Basic, and MATLAB

  • Lab experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

  • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory 

Salary Range:

$65,800.00 to $98,800.00
