Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the production of nucleotide and protein products complies with GMP requirements. This position is responsible for overseeing and participating in quality-related activities, conducting thorough assessments, and ensuring that final products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, review, and update quality assurance documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 and GMP requirements.

• Participate in quality assurance processes, including the investigation and resolution of deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints.

• Support and promote the effective implementation of risk management activities by actively participating in risk assessments and providing guidance to cross-functional teams.

• Review, verify, and approve controlled documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with quality and regulatory requirements.

• Print, issue, and maintain production and analytical documentation for routine manufacturing activities.

• Coordinate GMP-related training activities and support employee compliance with applicable quality standards and procedures.

• Prepare and review documentation required for product release, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related Life Sciences field.

• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or research environment is considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820) and GMP requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality management software.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Salary

€1,983–€2,970 gross per month.

The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and competencies.

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1 983,33–€2 970,83.
