This role is a senior-level quality engineering position focused on ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of mission-critical government systems.
You will define and lead comprehensive test strategies while building scalable automation frameworks that enhance overall software quality.
The position combines hands-on technical execution with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring QA engineers and shaping best practices across teams.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, functional stakeholders, and government partners to ensure rigorous quality standards are met.
A key part of the role involves driving automation maturity using modern tools and frameworks in a highly regulated environment.
You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives that strengthen delivery efficiency and system robustness.
This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly influences the quality and compliance of critical public-sector solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test strategies and comprehensive test plans for complex systems.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and TypeScript.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, promoting best practices and quality standards.
  • Lead user story refinement (paving) sessions and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
  • Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and ensure adherence to quality engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams, functional stakeholders, and government partners to ensure system quality and compliance.
  • Support quality assurance efforts within regulated government environments, ensuring alignment with required standards.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • 7+ years of QA experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
    • Strong expertise in test automation using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
    • Active U.S. Secret security clearance required.
    • U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, and modern test management tools.
    • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Java.
    • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, and automation best practices.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
    • Experience with government systems, accessibility testing (Section 508), or compliance environments is a plus.
