HRIS/HR System Support Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HRIS/HR System Support Analyst based in India.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of global HR systems, with a strong focus on Workday HCM and related HR platforms. You will support day-to-day system administration, data integrity, reporting, and user assistance across a global environment. The position sits at the intersection of HR, IT, and business operations, enabling efficient HR service delivery at scale. You will handle system enhancements, troubleshooting, audits, and data maintenance activities that directly impact workforce experience and operational accuracy. Working in a fast-paced, international setup, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, data accuracy, and service orientation are critical to success.
Accountabilities:
- Provide Tier 1 support by triaging, resolving, or escalating global HR system tickets and mailbox requests in a timely manner
- Perform HR system maintenance activities including data corrections, mass uploads, and routine administration tasks
- Conduct regular audits (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to ensure HR data accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Support testing of Workday enhancements, releases, and new functionalities in collaboration with stakeholders
- Assist in resolving interface and integration issues in coordination with IT teams
- Execute system updates such as organisational structures, cost centres, locations, and reporting hierarchies
- Generate, maintain, and analyse HR reports, including ad hoc reporting requests
- Support HR and Payroll audits related to compensation, job changes, and employee data
- Deliver user guidance, training, and support documentation to improve system adoption
- Participate in system improvements, clean-up initiatives, and HR transformation projects
- 1–3 years of experience working with Workday or similar HRIS/HCM systems
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data flows, and system dependencies
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality assurance
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate complex systems and data structures
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, validate, and communicate data insights
- Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level (data handling, reporting, and analysis)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
