Work on Salesforce.com support tickets and administrative requests across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Partner with business analysts, end users, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
Convert business requirements into functional designs and Salesforce configuration solutions.
Configure and maintain Salesforce.com features including fields, relationships, page layouts, workflow rules, approval processes, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons, custom links, queues, views, roles, profiles, permissions, and sharing rules.
Document solution approaches for developers to build or enhance custom objects, Visualforce pages, Apex classes, triggers, services, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
Understand, maintain, and enhance business processes implemented within Salesforce.com.
Develop reports, dashboards, and monitoring processes to improve data quality, integrity, and business visibility.
Perform Salesforce data loads, data fixes, and support resolution of CRM data issues.
Ensure data security through appropriate use of roles, profiles, permissions, and sharing rules.
Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, configuration documentation, and business process documentation.
Perform unit testing of Salesforce configurations, resolve defects, and support user acceptance testing activities.
Configure working prototypes in development sandboxes, validate solutions, and refine prototypes as required.
Create Change Sets and deploy configurations from development sandbox to full data sandbox or higher environments.
Support change migration activities and resolve post-deployment issues.
Leverage Salesforce platform knowledge to recommend scalable solutions and enhancements aligned to business needs.
Work with management to identify opportunities to use Salesforce data to support additional business processes and functions.
Guide CRM teams on Salesforce data issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production support issues independently.
Communicate task status, risks, issues, and progress clearly to key stakeholders and senior management.
Support occasional extended hours, weekend support, or partial shift coverage to collaborate with EMEA, North America, customers, and project teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce Administration, Salesforce Support, or Production Support.
At least 3 years of overall IT, programming, or Salesforce.com administration experience preferred.
Salesforce.com Administrator Certification required (Mandatory)
Advanced Administrator Certification preferred; Platform Developer Certification is a plus.
Strong Salesforce.com administration skills, including permissions, roles, profiles, queues, views, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, validation rules, and security configuration.
Good understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management.
Ability to understand Apex, Visualforce pages, custom objects, triggers, services, reports, dashboards, and Salesforce workflows.
Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts such as APIs, governor limits, test coverage, and platform constraints.
Experience with Change Sets, sandbox deployments, and post-deployment issue resolution.
Strong analytical, planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with users, team members, and senior management.
Ability to work in a team environment, manage competing priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced support setting.
Customer-focused mindset with adaptability, ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new Salesforce features.
Nice to have: exposure to SOAP integrations, Lightning Components, Salesforce Mobile Platform, XML, SQL, Salesforce integrations, and SFDC platform programming.
