This role is centered on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of large-scale Oracle Utilities implementations, with a focus on Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) systems. You will lead end-to-end testing efforts across functional, integration, regression, and performance domains while collaborating closely with clients and implementation teams. The position requires a strong mix of hands-on testing expertise and leadership capability, guiding test strategy while coordinating distributed teams across geographies. You will play a key role in shaping test coverage, improving automation frameworks, and ensuring systems meet both technical and business requirements. The environment is highly collaborative, client-facing, and delivery-driven, with significant exposure to enterprise utility transformation programs. Accountabilities:

  • Lead and oversee all testing activities including functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing for enterprise applications.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases aligned with business requirements and system design.
  • Define and maintain traceability metrics to ensure full coverage of requirements throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and implementation teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with automation engineers to design, execute, and maintain automated test suites and regression frameworks.
  • Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users and ensuring readiness of systems for validation.
  • Manage test environments and coordinate usage across multiple teams to ensure efficient testing execution.
  • Create and report testing metrics, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
    • 4+ years of experience in software testing within consulting, implementation, or product development environments.
    • Strong experience in functional testing and test automation frameworks.
    • Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and ALM.
    • Ability to write and execute SQL queries and understand database fundamentals.
    • Strong client-facing skills with experience working across distributed and cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in test planning, execution, and reporting for complex enterprise systems.
    • Exposure to Oracle Utilities applications (CC&B, CIS, MDM) is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, or PL/SQL is a plus.
