Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, results-driven DCP Retail Online Channel Assistant Manager to join our team.
This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Disney brand EC stores across the main EC platforms and for supporting the Disney licensing business on Douyin and other new EC platforms.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and licensing business, to develop and implement channel strategies, ensuring the online retail business achieves its performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Disney Brand store strategies on EC platforms (Tmall/JD/Douyin/Kuaishou), including brand and channel positioning, category priority, Licensees and Store operators capacity review, sales forecast, and achievement tracking.
- Manage day-to-day Disney brand store management, including new store applications, store cancellations, operator changes, and related requests. Optimize and maximize the efficiency of the store management SOP via the daily process.
- Analyze platform and store performance data (e.g., traffic, conversion, sales, customer retention) regularly, identify trends and optimization opportunities, and propose and push actionable improvement plans to relevant business teams and licensees.
- Plan and implement online promotion campaigns across specific platforms (e.g., Douyin) in sync with Disney movie and franchise content and the key EC promotion calendar to boost sales of Disney licensing products and brand awareness.
- Monitor industry trends, competitors’ online channel performance, and customer needs, and adjust our channel management and promotion support strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantages.
- Build and maintain good relationships with internal teams and external partners to support the smooth operation and development of online channels.
- Complete other related tasks assigned by the superior.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education Background
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related fields.
Work Experience
- 5 years+ experience in retail online channel management, e-commerce operation, or related roles; experience in distributor channel management is a plus.
- Familiar with online retail operation models, channel management processes, and promotion strategies.
Core Competencies
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, the Douyin channel is a must.
- Strong data analysis ability, able to use Excel, data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) to analyze channel performance and propose optimization plans.
- Strong learning ability, able to quickly adapt to new business and industry changes.
- Creative thinking, able to propose innovative channel operation and promotion ideas.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Results-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility, a proactive work attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken);
