The Junior Manager, Pricing & Purchasing supports the Retail Merchandising team by ensuring accurate pricing, product master data, and purchasing processes across Retail Europe.
Through close collaboration with Merchandising, Finance, and cross-functional partners, the role contributes to pricing accuracy, operational excellence, and efficient business execution.
Manage and maintain retail pricing data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across all relevant systems
Support the execution of pricing strategies through price analysis, reporting, and markdown recommendations
Collaborate closely with Merchandising and Finance to ensure pricing alignment and data integrity
Act as a key contact for pricing-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate support to internal stakeholders
Maintain and update product hierarchies, franchise structures, and other relevant master data
Provide backup support for the creation and processing of purchase orders for in-line and wholesale products
Support operational merchandising processes and contribute to the efficient execution of day-to-day business activities
Prepare and maintain regular reports and analyses to support business decisions
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes, and operational efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
First professional experience in Retail, Merchandising, Pricing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a similar business function is an advantage
Experience working with data and business systems is preferred.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Ability to work accurately with large data sets and multiple systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem-solving skills and a structured way of working.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions
Hands-on, reliable, and eager to learn in a dynamic retail environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience is an advantage
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
